Promoting the Establishment of Inclusive Practices for Youth

This initiative, titled “Promoting the Establishment of Inclusive Practices for Youth”, aims to respond to the emerging realities experienced by newly arrived Francophone youth, through partnerships established with several organizations in Southern Alberta.

An increasing number of newcomer youth are settling in Alberta, accompanied by their families or independently. They navigate at the intersection of two important realities: the challenges of youth and the integration journey as newcomers.

By bringing together various community, institutional, and youth stakeholders, this project aims to create collaborative spaces that foster exchange, coordination, and the development of cross-sector initiatives adapted to the realities of newly arrived Francophone youth.

        Our objective is to:

        • Strengthen collaboration and cohesion among Francophone organizations
        • Co-create sustainable French-language resources adapted to cultural realities
        • Co-develop inclusive strategies and practices for youth

Through this collective mobilization, we aim to contribute to the full development of newcomer youth, support their engagement within their community, and strengthen their sense of belonging to the Alberta Francophonie.
