Tax Clinic

The Portail de l’Immigrant Association (PIA) offers a free tax clinic designed to assist newcomers and families in preparing their income tax returns in Canada. This service is provided by trained volunteers who will meet you by appointment at our offices. The clinic allows you to file your tax return in a secure and confidential manner. Our goal is to reduce barriers related to tax procedures.

Before scheduling an appointment for your tax return, please carefully read the following information to verify your eligibility for our free tax clinic and to allow us to better serve you.

Your family’s annual income must be less than or equal to the following amounts:

• 1 person: $40,000
• 2 people: $55,000
• 3 people: $60,000
• 4 people: $65,000
• 5 people: $70,000
• Add $5,000 for each additional person.
