FRANCOFESTYYC

One festival, many Francophone cultures

Franco Festival Calgary (FFC), Calgary’s first multicultural Francophone festival, was created in August 2011. It celebrates the richness and diversity of Francophone cultures — from Africa to Europe, through Asia and the Americas — through music, dance, food, crafts, and many other expressions that showcase the breadth of Canadian heritage.

In 2026, the festival will take place in September at Cowboys Park, Calgary.

Franco Festival Calgary is a celebration of many Francophone cultures, from Africa to Europe, through Asia and the Americas using music, dance, cooking, crafts and other aspects that demonstrate the breadth and diversity of Canadian Heritage.
