Calgary Francophone Youth Center (MJFC)

The Calgary Francophone Youth Center (MJFC) is a multicultural space for gathering, support, and guidance, created by and for the youth of Calgary. It supports French-speaking youth aged 12 and up in their personal, social, and professional development, with the main goal of fostering their growth, autonomy, and development while offering opportunities for learning and discovery.

    MJFC offers, in particular:

    • Employment services to facilitate access to a first job.
    • Practical training to introduce youth to various professions.
    • Support and counseling services to promote the well-being and development of young people.
    • Volunteering opportunities, fostering community engagement and the development of transferable skills.
    • Educational, recreational, awareness, and community engagement activities that allow youth to grow, develop their talents, build confidence, and actively participate in the community.
